Are Christmas Trees Poisonous To Dogs?

Pets can be attracted to the sparkling, glittery Christmas decorations. So what’s safe and what’s not?

Dangers with Christmas trees

  • Live Trees- If you keep a real tree (eg. fir, pine, etc), you should know that the oils can irritate your dog’s mouth. The needles can cause vomiting, gastrointestinal irritation, or perforate the intestines.
  • Artificial Trees- These trees are the most popular in India, they are oil and sap free. The only problem is that the leaves can cause problems for your pet.

Plant Poisons

  • Mistletoe
  • Holly
  • Lillies
  • Amaryllis

All of these plants can have serious impacts on the dog.

Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to
know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so
I wanted to get advice from someone with experience.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
