The Great Dane, originally, descended from German Mastiffs. In the mid-18th century, the Great Dane was considered a protector of property and horse-drawn carriages. The Great Dane is great for large houses.

  • Very Affectionate
  • Kid-Friendly (Except that they’ll knock them down without good training)
  • Very Friendly With Other Dogs
  • Very Friendly With Strangers
  • Super Easy To Train
  • Very Energetic
  • Very Playful

Bad Things:

  • Can Not Live In Apartments
  • Does Not Tolerate Being Alone
  • High Tendency To Bark A Lot
